Founder, Michael Kane Miller, established Miller and Associates in 1979. From its inception the company has defined perfection in the industry offering unsurpassed attention to detail, extensive product knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of architecture and design.

With degrees in History and Studio Arts, Miller graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz (PHI Beta Kappa) in 1987. Miller's studies also included art history, science, language and architectural history.

From the ornamental to the mundane, Miller and Associates projects receive not only unsurpassed quality, but also, an eclectic, erudite approach to both design and structure.
Miller's brother John, a professional musician with extensive construction experience, joined the company in 1994. John's management skills and keen uncompromising sense of detail enabled the company to expand without compromising its very hallmark... quality control. Recently, John assumed the role of general partner.

Currently, Miller and Associates employs twenty persons, each bringing with them specific skill sets that contribute to the whole. Our projects include: exhibits for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, public works projects for several peninsula cities, restoration projects for numerous historic properties and a plethora of custom homes, interior components, etc.
